i got windows live messenger, and when i uploaded a display photo, it stayed there, but each time i log out, it goes away, so whenever i log back in i have to re-do it. how can i save that photo to permanently stay my display?
on ur msn u need 2 remove some of your unwanted photos and keep the 1 u want up. this shud sort your problem out!

Not that I know of. Trillian is a great *free* IM client that you can download. It will handle almost all other IM software programs.
I have some problem in launching Windows Live Messenger using my laptop. I think it had been lock by the previous person because whenever I double click my Windows Live Messenger and pop message shown that it had been prevented from my laptop software restriction policy. So anyone can help me solve this problem? Please!!! Thanks a lots.
You have to log into Administration mode so you can install the program. If you do not have the password you can reinstall the operating system to restore admin rights. Good luck!

Right-click on the MSN Live on your Desktop and check the Properties. You'll see the path there.
I have windows Live Messenger and up until now it has been working fine. Now it will not load at all. I have ran my anti virus and it says all is fine and yet I still cannot load Windows Live Messenger. It just seems that no matter what I do it won't load. I have uninstalled it, redownloaded it and reinstalled but it still won't work. Any help would be so appreciated.
Have you installed a webcam or anything else as these things can take away a lot of memory? Have you installed anything else that takes a lot of memory(in your computer)

My friend has been having problems with Windows Live Messenger as every so often it keeps signing her out. Until now, I have had no problems other than Messenger freezes for a few minutes when I sign in. Just now, the same problem is happening to my messenger as hers, it keeps singing me out for no reason. How could a thing like this just randomly happen?
I don't have that problem at all. I run Windows XP SP2 on a Dell desktop.You might have an older system or computer or something. Those are the people who usually experience problems. I suggest you upgrade your system, or redo WLM again. It has to work somehow.

Unfortunately, sometimes, Windows sucks.
Are you using a different browser other than IE?
If not, empty all of your unneccessary files, (Temp, History, ect) and restart.
If that doesn't work, download it again and see if that fixes the problem.
Trust me I'm having that same annoying problem as well, I even tried reinstalling and still does that :(
