I have an HP but want a black MacBook now so when I switch using bootcamp or parallells can I use windows live messenger on my macintosh computer?

If you use bootcamp you boot windows instead of OS X, so anything that's available in a normal Windows machine is available.
If you use parallels you're running a copy of windows under OS X, and, again, all normal windows programs work. However, you may need to switch to the windows virtual machine to get any notifications.
