In windows live messenger can you put your contacts names in colour like you can your display name?

Ive tried to do it but can't! You can do it on messenger plus 3 so i assume you can on windows live.

it's really simple.

Go to this website:

http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/

then click where it says Download Now. As you downloaded the messenger plus install it.

When you finish, open your messenger live.

Click on the small arrow which is at the end of your Nichname (not personal message) and click the last option.

Then edit your name (not nichkname)

Just next of your name there will be something that is saying format codes or something. Select your colour and that's it!
