Right.... yesterday windows live messenger told me to download the newer version..so i did and then it didnt work so i uninstalled it and now i can't download anymore because it always says like bla bla bla error and im stuck with the old msn !
please help its driving me craazyy !!!

if it tells you another installing is in progress or sth similar means you didn't unistall or install the last one successfully and you cannot install new one also.
if you have back up from your pc ,restore it and then try with annother version of msn with fresh version and installing again.
you can also use windows restore to restore your system before this change point in backup and restore center in control panel.
the best way is to uninstall msn services and changed it made to your registery and then try to uninstall current version and install a fresh one again. you can also try to find those programs which delete your programs completely delete programs and what they changed in your PC like Windows Doctor www.windowsdoctor.com
