I'm currently running 64-bit Windows Server 2008, and I can't find a version of Windows Live Messenger that's compatible with my system...where can I find one? Should I use an alternative chat client instead, like Trillian, Pidgin, or Digsby? Thanks!

You would have to use the 32 bit version. See the Jonathan Kay's (Microsoft MVP - Windows Live Messenger) response at the webpage below dated January 2008.

You may also want to ask the WLM Microsoft team directly at their blog site. They may be able to confirm what is mentioned above and advise if there are any plans to have a 64 bit version in the future.
