This is gonna sound stupid, but can i use windows live messenger with an AIM name? Also, can I IM people with AIM from it?

You can use your aim name with windows messenger as long as you have an email for it like your sn @aim.com. I am about 95% sure however that you can't IM people on aim from messenger. Sorry. If you're on a computer that doesn't have aim though try going to aim.com and using the express and if you have a pop up blocker hold down ctrl once you click sign in until the little screen pops up

You can't. Yahoo and MSN will talk to each other now.
You can get a program called Trillian that will talk amongst any messenger program.
