i tried to sign in to windows live messenger with yahoo ID and Gmail ID but it did not work, but some people i know use their Gmail and Yahoo IDs to sign to windows live messenger..how can i make it works ?

when you first tried to login to windows messenger, you were prompted to add a .NET passport right? just continue doing the steps indicated there and when it asks you if you have an email address, enter your yahoo or gmail account... then confirm your account by responding to the email sent to the email address you used in creating a .NET passport... :)
