How can I stop Windows Live Messenger from starting up?

Every time I turn on my computer Windows Live Messenger pops up and it鈥檚 annoying having to close it up everyday when I turn on my computer.

So what can I do to stop this Messenger from starting up every time I turn on my computer?

Log-In to Windows Live Messenger

On the "Show Menu" - very top right-hand side.(4th tab in)

Scroll down to "Tools"

Scroll down %26amp; click "Options"

On the "Options" window

Click "General"

For Sign In options:

"Uncheck "

* Automatically run Windows Live Messenger when I log on to Windows

* Allow automatic sign in when connected to the internet

Another option that you might wish to uncheck::

* Show Windows Live Today after I sign in to Messenger
