I HAVE WINDOWS LIVE MESSENGER, BUT IS IN SPANISH, AND I WANT TO CHANGE IT TO ENGLISH WHERE CAN I CHANGE IT, AND ALSO EVERYTIME I TURN MY COMPUTER ON IT APPERS FROM NOWHERE BY ITSELF WHAT CAN I DO SO IT DOESN'T POP UP WHEN I TURN MY COPUTER ON, ONLY WHEN I WANT TO???

Best,easiest way is to uninstall it and download it again. Go to Start%26gt;Control Panel%26gt;Add/remove programs and remove it.

Then go to MSN (link below) and download it again.

Yes you can change it from spanish to english under preferences and Yes you can go to Start%26gt;Run%26gt;Msconfig and uncheck it for start up. Much easier uninstall =)

try re-installing it
Turn off all caps first, download the latest version, if this doesn't update over the previous Spanish version then uninstall it completely and install the one you downloaded.
it is a setting, they all pop up when you restart, until you change it.
to convert ur spanish version to english version ,try unistalling and then reinstalling from http://get.live.com/messenger/overview

to prevent it from automatically starting at start-up

click "start"-----"run"------type" msconfig" -----click ok----- a window called "sytem configuration utility" opens --------click on "startup" top right hand corner----u have 3 sections "startup item" (all mentioned in shortform), "command" (mentioning the type of program) and "location" (where the program is saved\registry file)

un-tick msn messenger

u can expand the "command" section by draging it to the right and finding out the exact description of the start-up item,

clik ok,

if it will ask u to restart ur computer plzz do so, after restart a window will show stating that u made changes to ur startup jus check "dont show this again" and clik ok.
